Curing Luxon® depends on the color and thickness of the material. Depending on the desired effect requires one or more layers of material and corresponding exposures to the blue light.

  • Sandblast the metal surface including side walls
  • Ultrasonic cleaning
  • Application of Luxon® Link
  • Application of HyCeram® Bond
  • Light curing with UV light (440-480nm)
  • roll off the inhibited layer
  • Application of Luxon® on jewelery blank (ATTENTION: please note the different layer thicknesses)
  • Light curing with UV light (440-480nm) for 60 sec.
  • Wipe off the smear layer or cure under nitrogen for high gloss polishing
  • Grinding
  • Polishing
